SCHEDULE: WEEK OF BEHIND CLOSED DOORS 8 Filed by Sera Voss For Personal Records and the Federation Site Last Updated: Sunday Evening, Pre-Week ———————————————— NOTE ON FILING The document that follows is the schedule by which I will conduct the week preceding my Behind Closed Doors 8 match against Saoirse Fallon. It is the schedule by which I conduct every week preceding every match. I have made no modifications for the federation site beyond the addition of this note. I am filing it for two reasons. The first reason is that I filed a similar document in advance of my Behind Closed Doors 7 match, and the federation's commentators have, in subsequent broadcasts, referenced that filing in detail and at length. The audience has demonstrated a documented interest in this kind of record. I am providing the next instalment. The second reason is that Ms. Fallon, in her published training scene three weeks ago, established that her preparation operates on a different model — that she is working past what she termed her body's stop signal, on a deliberate practice schedule. Her preparation is observable. Mine has not been. I am correcting the asymmetry. The schedule is provided in twenty-four-hour time, in the Hamburg time zone (CEST). I will travel to The Foundry on Friday. The Friday entries reflect the travel. — S. V. ———————————————— MONDAY 06:00 — Wake. 06:00–06:15 — Hydration, ten-minute mobility sequence, weight check. 06:15–06:45 — Breakfast. Two soft-boiled eggs, one slice rye bread, one apple, one black coffee. 06:45–08:00 — Film: Fallon, full BCD 6 (against Diamante, 7:43). Notes on hip-rotation entry to Phoenix Splash setup. 08:00–08:30 — Walk. Three kilometres, neighbourhood loop, no music. 08:30–10:30 — Gym session 1. Strength block: deadlift triples, weighted Bulgarian split squats, weighted pull-ups, single-arm rows. No conditioning. 10:30–11:00 — Cooldown. Foam roller and static stretch. 11:00–11:30 — Lunch. Salmon, brown rice, steamed greens. 11:30–13:00 — Rest. No screens. Reading: text not related to combat sport. 13:00–15:30 — Gym session 2. Submission drill block: arm-isolation entries against aerial transitions (specific to Ms. Fallon's offence). Partner: M. (initials only, partner has declined publication of his full name). 15:30–16:00 — Notes from session 2 entered to working document. 16:00–17:00 — Sauna. Email checked twice daily, at 11:00 and at 19:00. Federation communications routed through my representative, who relays urgent items within those windows. Visitors: none, by request, for the duration of the week. The schedule above is the schedule. The match against Ms. Fallon will be the match. The two are not separate considerations. I will fight at 20:00 hours local Foundry time on Saturday. I expect to be in bed by 23:30. I expect to be on a flight back to Hamburg by 10:00 Sunday morning. — S. V.
